Final #4: High Resolution Avatar Using MakeHuman
I started by making my avatar a woman by dragging the gender button to the left. I altered my height and ethnicity as well.
For this picture I am altering the eyes to fit to what I mine look like. As you can see I am working on the left eye here, making the eye more oval and trying to match the right eye as much as possible.
This is an example of a Wireframe. It gives me a different perspective and look. I am still working on the eyes here, but allows me to see what I am doing in a new light.
This picture is a side view of my face. Here I am working on the shape of my lips.
Again here is my avatar in Wireframe. I am working on my cheek structure as well as my chin in this picture.
Here I am working on my stomach and hips. I had to change it to Wireframe instead of having it normal because I wasnt able to see the difference otherwise.
This is my completed avatar with hair.
Unfortunately the computer I used for this project did not have a webcam and I was unable to use my own face so I had to use a pre-made face and had to adjust it to the best of my ability.

Final #3: Group Building Project
These pictures are of a pool that I made in Cloudparty. This was an interesting building project due to the fact that I have never made a pool on here before. It was helpful to work with other team members to get ideas and help creating it. I first worked on figuring out the size of the pool (that is when I finally found the tool for building a pool). I then worked most of the time on figuring out where to get the water and how to fill it. It was tough finding the right water and figuring out how to fit the water into the pool.

Final #2- Monocular Depth Cues
1. Occlusion: This picture is an example of Occlusion. My Avatar is in front of a door frame and is closer to us than the door and is blocking our view from the door. In this instance my Avatar seems taller than the door frame even though the door is taller. Occlusion tells us our relative position compared to other objects around us, and shows that since my Avatar is blocking some of the door it is safe to say that my Avatar is in front of the door.
2.Texture Density: This picture is an example of Texture Density. The brick that is closer to us is a lot more detailed and does not seem as dense as the brick on the left hand side that is farther away from us. The farther away the texture (brick) the more dense they seem.
4. Lighting and Shading: This picture is an example of shading and lighting. This house is being hit by the sun on its left side, which "highlights" this side. This side appears to be the brightest, while the left side in the shade is a darker color. This shadow only will be seen by objects that have depth.
5. Atmospheric Perspective: This picture is an example of atmospheric perspective. Compared to the roof that my Avatar is standing on and the grass below which show a lot of detail and are clear, the pipe and building are less detailed and fuzzy. This is an example shows the difference in appearance as a result of light traveling through the atmosphere-- the further the light has to travel the more fuzzy and less detailed an object will be.
6. Linear Perspective: This picture is an example of linear perspective. The walk way that my Avatar is on appears that they are narrowing as it goes into the distance. I drew parallel lines on the side of the walk way to see how far in the walk way goes to give off the impression of the walk way getting longer.

Midterm #7
For this midterm I copied and pasted the circles over the eyes and cropped them so they would just be circles and resized them to fit better over Jeter's eyes. I then created the bottom black banner. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics.
